Pastor Kenneth L. Cotton is a Servant Leader in accordance with Mark 10:42-45 (NIV). He is also the ocular demonstration of the 10 principles of servant leadership: listening, empathy, healing, awareness, persuasion, conceptualization, foresight, stewardship, and commitment to the growth of the people. In keeping with this passage, and the aforementioned principles, since his arrival at Greater Barbour’s Chapel, Pastor Cotton is developing and implementing programs that impact lives for the better and advance the Kingdom of God; especially those of children, youth, young adults, seniors, as well as those in need.
In his spare time Pastor Cotton enjoys hunting, deep sea fishing, playing golf, cooking, shooting hoops at the church with the neighborhood youth, and traveling with his wife. He is proud to have his daughter Kendrese (Jeremey) and grandkids to serve in ministry alongside him and his wife at Greater Barbour’s Chapel.
In addition, he is also getting to know the community in which he has been called to serve. He spends time attending meetings, networking, honoring commitments, volunteering for the mobile food distribution at Greater Barbour’s Chapel and other churches, as well as teaching and preaching God’s Word.
Pastor Cotton believes the best is yet to come.
